Sarax - The King Of The Worlds = dead?

Posted By Walt Tischk in Project notes

NO! It’s ALIVE!

I’m still working on it. I have taken some pauses in the making of this game. But I promise you that I’ll finish this. Because this is my biggest project ever. I’ve been working on it for over three years(with pauses). It’s a scifi action platformer. Right now it has about 80-100 regular levels and 10 bosses.

Some new stuff

For you that have played this game before there are some new things that I’ve added. One of them is that after some levels you’ll be able to upgrade some attacks by using orbs and kills.

Things to come

I have some stuff in my head that I want to become reality in the future. One of them is adding online highscore to the game mode Gladiator. I think that it will add more addictiveness to the game. Well basically I have a lot more ideas but nothing I’d like to share right now because they are buried deeply in my mind. Or I’m to tired to write about it in this post. You decide.

Happy future!

New Pip Gunnar Video

Posted By Walt Tischk in Project notes

I’ve been animating much in flash lately. I’ve watched many video tutorials and learned very interesting techniques. So yesterday I decided that I had enough new knowledge to start a little project. This is going to be my first somewhat serious animation. I’m animating mouths and movement much better now that I’ve learned easy ways to make things look nice.

The Project

I’m working on a new Pip Gunnar video. For you who don’t know who Pip Gunnar is: He is a pink character that I’ve created. In the animation he’s in he’s singing well known music pieces but in high pitch. The previous Pip Gunnar videos are not very well animated. So if you’ve seen Pip Gunnar before you’ll be pleasantly surprised when you see the very much improved animation.

Thank you for reading. I’ve added a forum! Feel free to register.

Taberu progress…

Posted By Walt Tischk in Project notes

Gosh I have nothing to do today. I’ve already posted 3 potsts today and here comes my 4th.

I’ve been working on a really simple game lately. There are some games that could resemble this a bit, but I’ve made it pretty original. It’s a game where you eat everything thats smaller than you. Yes, I know what most of you are thinking: “AAH not another Fishy ripoff” I’ts not! This is nothing like that game. Except that you often eat those things that are smaller than you. My game has so much more than that. For starters: You steer ONLY with the mouse. You’ll never have to even touch your keyboard when you’re playing this game. This makes the game very simple to learn, understand and of course play. My hopes are that this game will please a wide audience and get them addicted… In a good way.

taberu

This level is will make you dizzy.

Inspiration

The first stage in the game Spore is my biggest source of inspiration. I’ve never played it but other has told me about it and I’ve seen videos of the gameplay. Other than that it’s all directly from my mind. This is not really impressing because like I said, it’s a simple game.

Taberu!?

What’s the deal with that name? I’ll tell you: It’s Japanese and it means: “EAT”, I think. I used an online dictionary. Taberu is better than the first name: “Green Dot”

Mysterious Rings

Posted By Walt Tischk in Games

This is my first somewhat succesfull flashgame. I made it quite a while ago. Almost 1 year ago if I got some sort of memory.

mysterings

Game description:

It’s a puzzle game. Solve the logical puzzles and you will reveal the almost AMAZING secret about the mysterious rings.

Game instuctions:

It is here many failed. They were too lazy to figure out that you jump over a tile when you hold down space. DAMN YOU LAZY PEOPLE! A tip is to check how you play the game before you start playing it. Well, in the game you are a dot which mission is to remove all tiles by walking on them. Sounds easy, is HARD!

Do you like the music in this game? I did not create it. Visit nissebanan.com! He is the awesome creator of the music!

Sarax goes flash!

Posted By Walt Tischk in Project notes

Yup, yup! You have no idea what Sarax is huh? Well, maybe not if you’re from Varg42. But if you are a random stranger reading random blogs for some random reason the name Sarax would sound kinda random for you. Yes… Random… Anyways, Sarax is a character I created a long time ago. The first game he starred in was: Sarax - Get the baby! Which was almost my first game ever and I do not wish to show it… Because it’s ugly. But who knows? Maybe I’ll grow some kind of self esteem and convince my self that it’s worth to show. But I have self esteem and I know that it’s not worth showing. Unless someone wants to see it very badly, which I doubt.

saraxflash2

A screenie from the Sarax flashgame!

Sarax is a square headed red creature. HE is running around and shooting evil robots that his nemesis Moblax has made. The Sarax games are awesome scifi platformers in 2d view. So… I’m working on a Sarax flashgame and one Sarax game in Game Maker. The flash games’ story will be about what happened before the Game Maker game. Which is interesting to me because I get to dig deeper and come up with what really happened to Sarax.

This post should be very confusing for those who haven’t played the Game Maker game. Soooooooo… Yeah.

Tischkman.com IS ALIVE!!!

Posted By Walt Tischk in Random stuff

Well, it never was dead. More like in a coma or something. Very well… I’m Walter Tischkewitz! The totally awesome creator of all that is created on Tischkman.com. Mostly games… And some videos… graphics… stuff. Anyway! Tischkman.com is now awake and ALIVE! It’s now a wordpress blog which is much easier for me to update.

And also I’m from Sweden so I don’t have to spell correct or use a proper grammar… Because I’m Swedish. And you’re maybe American or Japanese. If you are Japanese it would be pretty cool. A Japanese reading a pretty useless blog entry by a Swedish gentleman.

I will upload my recent work here. Please leave a comment and say something cool.
